Doodle turned... art, i guess. I needed to make something with the theme "greed" from the seven sins, and since my work lately revolves around little girls and hearts... there you go.

I'm sure this piece is really butt ugly to most of you >_>; but it's very experimental for me - i've never done lineart before, nor used a tablet to draw anything other than on an oekaki. I've never > colored < like that before, either. Suggestions and critique is very welcome.

I like the angry eyebrows. And the shading and highlights in her hair. And the way you shaded the hearts is superb. :)

Considering you say you've never done anything like this before, I'd say you've done an excellent job of it :) The texturing on the hearts is great

There seems to be an increasing popularity in theming art within the Seven Sins lately. Maybe it's just something I've been noticing... maybe it's just me. I don't know. I think you're improving a lot when it comes using a tablet --- you used Illustrator right? But color theory is always something to be improved on. However, still overwhelmingly cute and I like the simple concept because although simple, you get the point across.

Just my two cents. x]

Ahhhh gawd that's cute, don't knock your painting skills. What I would suggest is a touch more shading in the hearts and shoes. I'm not seeing the hair highlights; it's probably just a difference in our monitors though.
